Objectives of Gujarat Sardardham Scholarship 2025
The main aim or objective behind launching this scheme for students is to reduce the dropouts taken by economical weak families after schooling because of high education costs. It provides education as well as financial assistance to those needy and meritorious students of Gujarat. Such scholarship helps to promote higher education with less worrying about finances.
How to Apply Online?
- At first, visit the official portal- www.sardardham.org
- Then the Home page of the website will appear on your screen.
- Now, click on the News Section from the drop-down menu.
- Then select the New & Updates option.
- Now, click to apply for the scholarship application 2025-26 scheme.
- Then the Rules and conditions will be displayed in Gujarati, read them carefully and click on accept in the section below.
- It is followed by the application form- Fill all necessary details like your name, mobile no., education, income details and many others.
- Upload all the required documents, passing year, light bill, Aadhar Card, etc.
- Cross-check all the information filled by you and click on submit.
- Your application form is finally completed and take a printout of this.

So make sure to fill your application forms as soon as possible because the deadline is very near and after that no applications will be allowed to submit.
Note- The students will be notified officially before 25/08/25 ie after the application deadline about their approval in the assistance program. They will be required to submit their documents for further verification round and final approval. In case you don’t receive such notification of initial approval, it means you are not selected.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants need to check the following grounds to make sure that they are eligible in the scheme-
- They must be Indian citizens & residents of Gujarat.
- Open to both males and females.
- Passed 12th standard in any stream with atleast 70%.
- Open to any community or caste people.
- Pursuing or enrolled in higher studies for Medical, Engineering, I.I.M. & Others.
- Their family income must not exceed Rs 6 lakh annually.
Important Update: Per family- only one student can apply and fill form. No student would pre assume their approval for scholarship and will wait for the approval by the authorities.

Scholarship Amount and Awards
After the final selection of the student for the scholarship grant, they have to submit an affidavit in the format which has been prescribed by SardarDham. The amount which will get transferred according to the individual needs directly to the bank account and definitely not in cash. It may be given by cheque also.
Merit List and Final List- Check Online
The official website has published the merit list and waiting list for the academic year 2024-25 under the scholarship scheme. Students were selected based on their 12th standard percentage and also the family financial requirements. You can check the previous year list as the pdf is available on the portal. The merit and final list for the year 2025-26 will be published after the application process is over.
