Benefits

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant must be admitted in the First Year or Second Year through Lateral Entry of a Degree-level technical course in an AICTE-approved institution.
• Must be a specially-abled student with at least 40% disability.
Family income from all sources must not exceed ₹8 lakh per annum during the current financial year.
• Must possess a valid Income Certificate issued by State/UT Government.
• The candidate must not be receiving financial assistance/scholarship from any other source.


Exclusions

• Students who fail to get promoted to the next academic year are not eligible for renewal.
• Students with a gap of more than two years between their qualifying exam and course admission are not eligible.
• If a student receives financial aid from any other government or private scholarship, the Saksham scholarship will be cancelled, and the entire amount refunded.
• Students who drop out or fail during the course tenure will not continue to receive the scholarship.
