OTR Create Account on NSP Scholarship

Creating your One-Time Registration (OTR) on the NSP Scholarship Portal is your first step to apply for popular scholarships like the Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship, Central Government schemes, State schemes and more.

Follow this simple guide step-by-step 👇


🔹 Step 1: Open the Website

👉 Go to www.scholarships.gov.in on your phone or laptop.
You’ll see a big button that says “New Registration”click that to start.


🔹 Step 2: Read the Guidelines (Don’t skip this!)

You’ll see a page with important instructions — who can apply, what documents you’ll need, rules, etc.

📌 Scroll down, tick the box (✔️) to say you’ve read and understood, then click “Continue”.


🔹 Step 3: Fill Out the One-Time Registration (OTR) Form

Now the real form opens up. Here’s what you’ll fill in:

Full Name (exactly as on Aadhaar card)
Mobile Number (must be active)
Email ID (optional but good to add)
Bank Account Number + IFSC Code
Your State and Scholarship Category (Pre-Matric, Post-Matric, etc.)
👉 Enter the captcha code and click “Register”.


🔹 Step 4: Verify with OTP

You’ll get a One-Time Password (OTP) on your mobile. Enter it to confirm your number and finish your registration.

📌 You’ll now get a unique Application ID — save it safely or take a screenshot 📸.


🔹 Step 5: Log In and Start Applying

Go back to the NSP Login Page — click “Login”.
Fill in:

  • Application ID

  • Password you set

  • Captcha Code

✅ Click Login — you’re in!

Now pick the scholarship you want — whether it’s Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship, a Central Govt scheme, State scholarship, or others.
