Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the National Talent Scholarship (NTS) 2025, applicants must:
- Be admitted to an ICAR-recognized Agricultural University (AU) outside their state of domicile.
- Qualify through the AIEEA-UG (All India Entrance Examination for Admission – Undergraduate).
- Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Allied Sciences in a university funded under the ICAR Planning Scheme – “Strengthening and Development of Higher Agricultural Education in India.”
- Not receive any other scholarship or financial aid during the course.
- Maintain good academic performance and discipline throughout the scholarship period.
- Take up studies on a full-time basis and not engage in part-time jobs.
- Do not change the subject of study for which the scholarship was granted.
- Not withdraw from the course within one month of admission.
Exclusions
• Students admitted without qualifying for the AIEEA-UG
• Students studying in their home state
• Applicants receiving any other financial assistance during the course
• Students who change their subject or leave the program midway
• Students involved in agitations, strikes, or misconduct

Application Forms can only be submitted through online mode on the website https://icar.nta.ac.in.
The Application Form, other than in online mode, will not be accepted. - Can I submit more than one application form for the exam?
NO. Only ONE application is to be submitted by a candidate to appear in the exam. - How can I pay the Application Fee?
1. Fee can be paid using SBI/Canara /HDFC/ICICI Bank Payment Gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI/Paytm. Candidates need to keep proof of the fee paid.
2. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee then the transaction is cancelled, and amount will be refunded to the candidate’s account.
