• Must not be receiving any other major scholarship/fellowship like UGC-JRF, CSIR, or DBT.
• Preference will be given to scholars undertaking research related to Nagaland’s developmental, cultural, or indigenous issues.

Exclusions

• Students enrolled in distance learning or part-time research programs are not eligible.
• Candidates already receiving any central/state-level fellowship or financial support are not eligible.
• Applications with incomplete or false documentation will be rejected.

Application Process (Offline)

1. To submit the application form, Applicants should open the official website at https://scholarship.nagaland.gov.in/ of the Common Scholarship portal of Nagaland.
2. On the home page, Applicants should choose the register button, and the registration application form will open on the screen.
3. Fill out the required details in the form like Applicant’s Name, Gender, Aadhaar number, Mobile Number, Email ID, and Password.
4. Choose the Register option, and enter the verification code to complete the registration process.s
5. Log in by entering the details and go to the apply link
6. Choose the scholarship.
7. Fill in the details and complete all the formalities, and upload the documents as listed.
8. Review the application and submit it.
9. Send the printed application along with the signed document to the Scholarship Section, Directorate of Higher Education, Below New Secretariat Complex, Nagaland, Kohima-7970.01
