• The applicant must be a resident of Kerala
• Belong to a Below Poverty Line (BPL) family OR
• Belong to a priority group, including:

  • HIV/AIDS-affected families

  • Socially discriminated persons

  • War widows

  • Women whose husbands are bedridden due to stroke or spinal injury
    • The child must be studying in a Government or Government-aided school/college
    • Only two children per family can benefit from the scheme


Exclusions

• Children availing of any other scholarship are not eligible
• A certificate from the school/college is mandatory, confirming no other scholarship is being received
