1. Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme (A1201)

✅ Who Can Apply?
• International students aged 18–40 (for UG/PG courses)
• Maximum 50 years age for Ph.D. applicants
• Must apply via the official ICCR A2A Portal
• Must upload English translations of documents if not originally in English
• Must meet the eligibility and documentation criteria of the selected Indian university
• Required to buy medical insurance with coverage of at least ₹5 lakhs/year

Note: Students must later register on the SII Portal for visa and FRRO procedures after scholarship confirmation.
🛑 Ineligibility & Caution
• No scholarships are offered for medical, nursing, paramedical, fashion, law, or 5-year integrated programs (e.g., BA LLB).
• Part-time or full-time work is not allowed during studies.
• Students must ensure they apply for eligible programs only as per the subjects studied.
