Eligibility Criteria
General Conditions:
• Must be a permanent resident of Odisha
• Parental income should not exceed ₹6,00,000 per annum
• Must have secured at least 60% marks in the qualifying exam
• Applicable only in the first year of admission
• Must have a valid bank account and Aadhaar number
Course-Wise Eligibility:
1. UG Merit
• Passed +2 (CHSE Odisha/CBSE/ICSE) with 60%+ marks
• Admitted in a regular 3-year degree course like BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA, BJMC
2. PG Merit
• Passed +3 Degree with 60%+ marks
• Admitted in a regular non-professional PG course (Arts, Science, Commerce)
3. Technical & Professional Merit
• Passed +2 (or +3 for MBA/MSW/NMFC etc.) with 60%+ marks
• Enrolled in courses like B.Tech, MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, B.Pharm, B.Sc Nursing, BCA, BBA
• Course must be approved by AICTE, MCI, UGC, CCIM, INC, etc.
Exclusions
• Students studying via distance education/open universities
• Already availing any other Govt. scholarship
• Students of diploma, B.Ed./M.Ed., M.Phil/Ph.D.
• Students admitted to non-recognized institutions
• Students studying abroad
• Students who do not apply in the first year of their course
