Dulari Scheme

The Dulari Scheme, launched by the Health Department of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands on 26th January 2013, is a welfare initiative aimed at promoting the birth, education, and delayed marriage of girl children. Through financial incentives, the scheme supports girls from birth through schooling and even into adulthood, encouraging education and empowerment of girl children across the Union Territory.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must be a domicile of Andaman & Nicobar Islands
• Only girl children born on or after 01.10.2013 are eligible for all benefits
• Girl children aged 0–13 years born before the scheme launch (but not covered under the Planned Family Scheme) are eligible for educational incentives only
• The girl must not be married before 21 years
• Must be actively enrolled in school to claim education-related benefits


Cessation of Benefits

• If false documents or statements are submitted
• If the child drops out from school
• If the girl marries before 21 years
• If the beneficiary dies before benefit disbursement, amount may be released to the parents as per government order

  4. Fill in all mandatory details and submit the registration form
