Note: Maintenance allowance is provided from the date of admission to exam completion date. If admission is before the 20th of a month, allowance is paid for the full month.
Eligibility Criteria
• Must belong to the VJNT category
• Must be a resident of Maharashtra

Renewal Policy
• Students must pass the previous academic year
• If a student fails, he/she can claim benefit for that year but not again until promoted
• For Group A courses, first failure may still be allowed; subsequent failures are ineligible until promoted
• Special exemptions for failure due to medical/unforeseen events with proper certification from the institution head
Exclusions
• Students engaged in full-time employment
• Students already availing another scholarship/stipend
• Repeaters are not eligible for the failed year
• Changing course mid-year leads to disqualification for further benefits
