As per Circular No. BCDIR/300/2025-A2 dated 30-05-2025, several amendments have been made to streamline the application and disbursement process of the Kedavilakku Scholarship Scheme starting from the academic year 2025β26.

Eligibility Criteria
β’ Student must belong to OBC communities listed in Annexure I
β’ Studying in Classes 1 to 8 in a Kerala government or aided school
β’ Class 1 students: Income-based selection only
β’ Classes 2β8: Must have scored 90% or more in the previous annual examination
β’ Family Income: Should not exceed βΉ2.5 lakh annually
β’ Students receiving benefits under similar scholarships (e.g., Margadeepam, Pre-Matric Minority Scholarship) are not eligible

β’ Caste Certificate/Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (if not already submitted at admission)
