As per Circular No. BCDIR/300/2025-A2 dated 30-05-2025, several amendments have been made to streamline the application and disbursement process of the Kedavilakku Scholarship Scheme starting from the academic year 2025–26.

Eligibility Criteria
• Student must belong to OBC communities listed in Annexure I
• Studying in Classes 1 to 8 in a Kerala government or aided school
• Class 1 students: Income-based selection only
• Classes 2–8: Must have scored 90% or more in the previous annual examination
• Family Income: Should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh annually
• Students receiving benefits under similar scholarships (e.g., Margadeepam, Pre-Matric Minority Scholarship) are not eligible

• Income Certificate: Obtained via e-District portal (mandatory for 2024–25)
• Caste Certificate/Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (if not already submitted at admission)
• Copy of Aadhaar-linked Bank Passbook (in student’s name)

Responsibilities of School Authorities

• Maintain application records for 10 years
• Ensure only Aadhaar-seeded student bank accounts are entered for fund disbursal
• No conversions from grade to percentage should be used—only actual marks
