Eligibility Criteria

General Criteria

• Applicant must be a domicile of West Bengal
• Annual family income should be less than ₹2.5 lakh

Educational Qualifications

Higher Secondary (HS)

• Must have secured 60% or above in Madhyamik
• Only WB Board of Secondary Education students are eligible

Diploma

• Minimum 60% marks (excluding optional subjects)
• Courses must be approved by AICTE/PCI/CoA

Undergraduate (UG)

• Must have 60% aggregate marks in HS (WBCHSE/Madrasa Board)
• Separate merit lists for Arts, Commerce, Science

Postgraduate (PG)

• Minimum 53% marks in Honours subject
• Kanyashree (K3) students require 45% in graduation

M.Phil/Ph.D.

• Full-time scholars registered on/after April 1, 2017
• Duration: 2 years (M.Phil), 4 years (Ph.D.)
