Swami Dayanand Scholarship 2025: Apply Online, Eligibility, Amount & Result

Swami Dayanand Education Foundation was first established by Mr. Ashutosh Garg, along with its founder trustees, in 2015 with a mission to offer scholarship programs to college students not only in India but also in the United States. The primary objective of the scholarship program is to help students secure admission to premier colleges in India. Today, 1200-plus scholars have benefited from this Scholarship programme.

The scholarship is offered to Students pursuing MBBS, IT Pharmacy, and Architecture courses in Government or Private institutes across India. Thirty percent of the total scholarship is reserved for women. Now let’s see the main objective of these Scholarships, including the Eligibility and Application process.

Objective of the Swami Dayanand Scholarship

Pre Matric Scholarship => Provide Financial Assistance to deserving and Meritorious students in government or aided schools in the 12th grade. Financial Assistance up to 1 lakh per annum. Students with a strong Academic Record (65% or above in Class 12) and a family income of less than 6 lakh per annum.

Post Matric Scholarship => Helps students Pursuing Undergraduate courses like MBBS, Architecture, and Engineering.

Who Runs IT?

Swami Dayanand Education Foundation (SDEF) will handle everything from receiving your Application to verifying documents and sending money directly to your bank.

When to Apply?

Online Applications Open: 9th June 2025. The last date has not been fixed by the Foundation. Students are advised to apply early to avail the benefits.

Selection Process

The Applicant will be selected on the following Criteria;

1. The Scholars will be selected based on merit, family background, percentage of marks obtained in the course, and basis of the annual income of the family.
2. Preference will be given to students from the lowest income group first.

Documents Required

Let’s see the following documents, which are required to apply for the Scholarship:

• 10th and 12th Marksheets
• Residence Proof or Parents’ ID Proof.
• Academic Marksheets, previous semester-wise scores.
• Admission letter and Counseling letter for seat allotment.
• Bonafide Certificate from College
• Payment Receipt or any other proof of payment by the Students, semester-wise
• Family Income proof ( Salary Slip last 3 months / IT Return.
• Agriculture land Documents / Commercial shops Pics.
• Family Pictures ( Inside and Outside and Family Photograph.
• Bank Institute is attested by the Institute.
• Education Loan Proof (if any).
• Copy of the Electricity last 3 months.
• Small video about Swami Dayananad Sarswati and reciting Vande Mataram of 6 stanzas.
• Reference Letter from 2 neighbors.

Eligibility Criteria

The following documents are required to apply for the scholarship.

1. Students scoring 65% or above Marks in 12th/ CGPA of at least 6.5.
2. Scholarship is applicable for all professions, including medicine, engineering, architecture, and other undergraduate courses.
3. Annual Family Income should be less than 6 LPA, and preference will be given to those students who can provide the necessary income tax return or salary proof of their working parents.

Steps to Apply for the Dayanand Scholarship

2. Now, click on the scholarship option in the menu bar, and then click on the option India College Scholarship.
3. You will then be redirected to a new page. Please read all the instructions and then click on Apply for Scholarship.
4. Then you have to download the form either in Hindi or English.
5. Next step, there will be a final interview with the founder, followed by a meeting and verification of all the documents.
6. As a last step announcement will be made for selected students, and then the scholarship will be fulfilled.
7. After successfully filling out the application, you need to send all the documents to the following address
