To support deserving minority students in pursuing postgraduate and doctoral education abroad, the Government of Telangana introduced the Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme for Minorities. Since its inception in 2015-16, the scheme has empowered hundreds of bright students with the resources they need to study in globally recognized universities.
In 2025, this transformative scheme continues to provide financial assistance up to ₹20 lakh, one-way airfare, and living expenses for selected minority candidates. The goal is to uplift the community through education and global exposure.
