Medhavi Putra/Putri Chhatravritti Yojana

The Medhavi Putra/Putri Chhatravritti Yojana is a fully state-sponsored scholarship scheme launched by the Department of Labour, Employment, Training & Skill Development, Government of Jharkhand. This initiative provides financial support to the children of registered construction workers to promote uninterrupted education from Class 1 to postgraduate level. Benefits

Note: The benefit is available to a maximum of two children of a registered construction worker.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant must be a domicile of Jharkhand
• Must be a student (Class 1 to Postgraduation)
• Must have passed the previous examination with at least second division (45%), or secured admission via competitive exam
• Parent must be a registered construction worker with the Jharkhand Building and Other Construction Worker Welfare Board (JBOCWWB)
• Applicant must not be claiming benefits for more than two children under the scheme

Application Process (Online Only)

Registration:

1. Visit: shramadhan.jharkhand.gov.in

2. Click Login > Register Here

3. Fill in details: Name, Email, Mobile, Create Username & Password

4. Verify via OTP and save your login credentials

Application Submission:

1. Login using your credentials

2. Navigate to Services > BOC Scheme Benefit > Application Form

3. Enter all Basic Details (BOC Registration No., Aadhaar, District, DOB, etc.)

4. Select the scheme from dropdown

5. Upload all mandatory documents in correct format

6. Click Submit Request and note down your Application ID

Track Application Status:

1. Go to Services > BOC Scheme Benefit > Application Status

2. Enter your Application ID

3. View status: Approved/Pending/Rejected

4. Once approved, download and submit at the Labour Office

  To track the status of your application, follow the stepwise process given below: Step 1: Once submitted, the application goes for 3-level approval: Clerk > Labour Superintendent > DLC. Step 2: Go to Services > BOC Scheme Benefit > Application Status. Step 3: On the next page, fill in your Application ID, and click “Search”. The status of your application will be displayed in a tabular format: Application ID, Applicant Name, Scheme Applied, Application Status, Remarks, Date, and Time. Step 4: Once the DLC approves the application, the “Application Status” changes to “Approved”. The Applicant can take print of this page by clicking “PRINT” and submit the same at the Labour Office to avail of the scheme benefit.
